How to describe challenges of working in different culture? How to show friendship, love and sorrow? How to proof the change of yourself and the world? How to tell your EVS story?

A photographic and literary workshop for EVS and ex EVS volunteers
Warsaw, 2-8 July 2010

During 6 days and 6 nights with the help of the professionals will be creating their story of EVS experience. This story will be told by means of photos and stories.

By this we would like every young person o imagine what EVS is and how it can change one's life. Stories and photos will be published on the Youth in Action Program in Poland and also 2 part publications that are going to be published in the end of the year.

Who can participate?

If you belong to the group of European Volunteers (former or present one) we would like to invite you to take a challenge and participate in these creative workshops.

The aim

It is going to be quite busy time aiming at texts and pictures creation illustrating the personal experience as “an EVS”.

Working languages

The working languages of the workshops will be Polish and  English.

The structure of the workshop

First days are entitled “a WORD” – means studying different forms of literature, styles of writing, creative way of writing, writing own pieces.  

Next two days are entitled “a PICTURE” – work on two photographic backgrounds - illustrating the texts by creating the stenography, costumes and stylizations.

When and where

Workshop will take place in Warsaw. 2-8 July 2010. Workshop will start 2nd July at 1600 and will end 7th July 2010 at 1900.

Costs

Programme, board & living will be covered by the National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme. Participant is obliged to cover his travel expenses. Participant should have also personal accident insurance.

Online registration 10th June at the latest. Details will be sent to participants after 15th June 2010.
